Types Of Thread According To Speed ( चाल के अनुसार thread कितने प्रकार की होती है )

1. Right Hand Thread
जो thread घड़ी की सुई की दिशा के अनुसार (turn clock wise) घुमाते है तो nut, bolt पर टाइट हो जाता है और (anti clock wise) घड़ी की सुई की दिशा के विपरीत घुमाते है तो nut,bolt पर लूज़ (lose) हो जाता है. इस thread का झुकाव right hand thread की तरफ होता है. इसलिए इसे right hand thread कहते है.2. Left Hand Thread
जो thread घड़ी की सुई की दिशा के विपरीत घुमाते है तो nut,bolt पर tight(टाइट) हो जाता है. यदि clock wise घुमाते है तो nut,bolt पर लूज़ हो जाता है. इस thread का झुकाव left hand thread की तरफ होगा. इसलिए इसे left hand thread कहते है.Types Of Threads According To Shape: Shape के अनुसार thread दो प्रकार की होती है |

इस thread की shape English latter v जैसी होती है यह thread lathe machine से काटी जाती है और इस thread को tap or die के द्वारा भी काट सकते है. engineering line में v shape thread parts को जोड़ने में प्रयोग की जाती है. v shape thread angle के अनुसार कई प्रकार की होती है.1.British Standard Whitworth Thread (B.S.W.)

1. British Standard Whitworth Thread (B.S.W.)
यह thread b.s.w. द्वारा मान्यता प्रदान की गई है | इस thread का आविष्कार सन 1841 ई में sir Joseph whitworth ने किया था और उसी के नाम पर इस thread का नाम Whitworth रखा गया. इसकी theoretical depth 0.96p होती है. Actual depth(D) 0.64p होती है. इस thread का crest and root theoretical depth (D) का 1/6 भाग गोल (round) किया जाता है और इस thread का angle 55 डिग्री का होता है.2. British Standard Fine Thread (B.S.F.)
B.S.F. thread भी B.S.W. thread जैसी होती है इसका angle 55 डिग्री का होता है. इसकी theoretical depth 0.96p होती है Actual depth (D) 0.64p होती है. इस thread का crest and root theoretical depth(D) का 1/6 भाग गोल (round) होता है.USES : यह thread बहुत ही fine या साफ कार्यो के लिए प्रयोग की जाती है जैसे Automobile,Airplane के parts आदि के लिए इस thread का use किया जाता है.
3. British Standard Pipe Thread (B.S.P.)
B.S.P. thread भी B.S.W. thread की तरह होती है. इस thread का प्रयोग गैस पाइप, पानी पाइप आदि को जोड़ने के लिए किया जाता है. इस thread का angle 55 डिग्री का होता है इस thread की theoretical depth 0.96p and Actual depth(D) 0.64p होती है. इस thread का crest and root theortical depth(D) का 1/6 भाग गोल (round) होता है.4. British Association Thread (B.A.)
यह thread भी B.S.W. thread का शुधरा हुआ रूप है. इस thread का प्रयोग बहुत ही सुध्द कार्यो के लिए किया जाता है. जैसे watch(घड़ी) telephone, TV, radio etc इस thread का angle 47.5 डिग्री का होता है. इस thread की theoretical depth 1.36p and Actual depth 0.64p होती है. इस thread का crest and root 2.36p के बराबर round किए जाते है.5. Unified Thread (U.T.)
यह thread भी I.S.I. द्वारा recommended की गई है. इस thread को भारत, कनाडा, USA other countries में इस thread को अपनाया गया है. इस thread का angle 60 डिग्री का होता है. इस thread की theoretical depth 0.86p and Actual depth 0.54p होती है. यह thread internal and external दोनों type की होती है. bolt पर इस type की thread के crest and root theoretical depth के 1/6 भाग round किया जाता है. जबकि nut में crest and flat होते है.6. Metric Thread (M.T.)
यह thread I.S.I. द्वारा मान्यता प्राप्त की गई है. इसका angle 60° का होता है यह internal or external दोनों हो सकती है, और इस thread की theoretical depth 0.86p होती है और actual depth 0.125p होती है. इस thread के crest and root theoretical depth (D) का 1/6 भाग गोल (round) होता है. इस thread के crest and root flate भी हो सकते है. आमतौर पर यह thread 25mm से 300mm diameter वाले parts पर काटी जाती है. nut तथा bolt पर भी यह काटी जाती है. यह thread case pitch और fine pitch दोनों होती है जैसेm =20x1.5 fine pitch
m =15x15 case pitch
Metric system में shaft and hole का diameter 20mm and 1.5 screw की pitch है और pitch के बारे कोई निर्देस न दिया गया हो तो उसके बारे में thread चार्ट से पढ़कर या लिखकर show कर सकते है.
7. Seller Thread Or American National Thread
इस thread को I.S.I. द्वारा मान्यता प्राप्त की गई है इस thread का angle 60° का होता है. इस thread की theoretical depth 0.86p and actual depth 0.64p होती है. इस thread का use ज्यादातर एक parts को दुसरे parts के साथ मिलाना या adjustment करने के लिए किया जाता है. इस thread के crest and root theoretical depth (T.D) D/6 भाग समान्तर होती है. इस thread का प्रयोग भारत,अमेरिका, कनाडा आदि देश करते है.2. Square Thread
इस thread की shape square होती है | कार्य और shape के अनुसार square thread कई प्रकार की होती है.1. Square Thread

Square thread की सभी side के angle 90° के होते है और इस thread की depth, pitch की आधी होती है. यह thread machine द्वारा बनाई जाती है.USES : Square thread का use screw jack या power transmission के लिए किया जाता है.
2. Acme Thread
Acme thread square thread का सुधरा हुआ रूप है और square thread से ज्यादा heavy होती है | इस thread का angle 29°का होता है | इस thread की depth 0.5p+0.25p होती है जबकि crest and root के ऊपर thread की thickness 0.3707p होती है इस thread का प्रयोग ज्यादातर power transmission में किया जाता है.3. Knuckle Thread
इस thread के crest and root अर्धगोलाकार होते है. इस thread के semicircle का radius (r) 0.25p होता है और theoretical depth 0.5p होती है.USES : इस thread का use electrical बल्ब, bottle,tooth paste व् रेलवे couples में किया जाता है.
4. Buttress Thread
इस thread का angle 45° का होता है. इस thread की एक side axis के perpendicular होती है. इसकी depth pitch के बराबर होती है व् actual depth 0.75p के बराबर होती है . इस thread के crest and root axis line के parallel होती है व् theoretical depth (T.D) का 1/8 भाग flat होता है.USES : इस thread का प्रयोग वहा पर किया जाता है जहा पर एक side से ताकत लगानी हो जैसे carpenter wise.
